Wordless{ish} Wednesday

There is something about the outside of a horse that is
good for the inside of a man.
~Winston Churchill

Or for the inside of a girl.  She loves horses.  She wants to buy one and keep it in her bedroom.  This photo was taken at the Apple Orchard in Illinois immediately following a wagon ride that was pulled by these magnificent creatures.

Hubs took this photo of me and Chloe Belle at the Children's Farm in Illinois.  I don't usually like pictures of myself, but I love this one.  I love the way Chloe tucks her little fingers into my shirt and holds on so that if I start to put her down, she can clench it tightly and resist.  I also love the leaves on the ground and the little smile lines around my eyes.  And, I love that everything was right with the world the day that this was taken.  It was a fabulous day!

Cam sure does have a love for horses. I'm hoping that Uncle JJ can find a unicorn for her some day. It may take a miracle - both to find one and the money it would take! LOL

I love the picture of you and Chloe. So sweet. And the last picture, you can tell just how much fun Cam is having and I love that! For that matter, Chris is really enjoying it too!

I love the photo of you with Chloe - it's so sweet, definitely one to frame. I also love the first picture - there seems to be something about girls and horses that draws them together.

I think it is so great that Cam has a passion for something (other than toys..LOL) at an early age. I think I see a horse on your ranch in the next few years :) Love when the kids hold on to you for dear life....makes you realize how much they are trusting you :)

I totally agree with that quote. :) great pictures, it's nice to see people out from behind the camera!

I wanted a horse when I was a little girl, too. Haven't totally given up on that dream, either. Maybe if we move out to the country after the hubs retires I can have one for my grandkids to enjoy (scary to think that time is coming sooner than I care to realize!)
Chris did a great job as photographer. My hubs literally points and shoots-no zooming in or out or centering or anything of the likes. We usually look like ants on the horizon in photos he takes. That is a beautiful picture of you and Chloe. I adore Cam's snaggle tooth smile. I don't remember taking many pics of my kids with missing teeth & I wish I had. Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog during this unhappy time in our lives. I so appreciate your love and support.

I really like that quote by Winston Churchill!! Also, I love when my son tucks his fingers in my shirt like that. He uses my shirt as a handle sometimes. Cute pictures!! I love your camera, too.

BTW, if I wasn't so dadgum sneaky, you would've guessed correctly on my 5 lies quiz! I linked to you in my blog post today anyway. :)
