I am Thankful for the pure sweetness and spitfire that is my 2nd baby girl. Belly laughs at the park with a mouth full of food. Gut Busting, hilarity that ripples from the belly of one year olds. It's contagious, it's beautiful, and it's a splendid sound.
And, then I forget about the times she swiped at me, pushed a friend, or resisted sitting in her car seat. And, I watch her feed her betrothed a rice cake and I see visions of wedding cake and this imperfect photo splashed on the big screen at their wedding reception. I'm Thankful for my dreams.
(I cringe that the focus is on Chloe instead of her hand & the food - how much sweeter this picture could have been)
And, I am Thankful for the future and the mysteries it holds.

What a sweet post! It think it is so important to remember all of the good, wonderful things even when life is hard. It always amazes me just how many things I do have to be thankful and happy for.
Such a sweet post - Love it!
So true! When it's night and I'm rocking Georgia to sleep, I can forget all about how she threw a tantrum at the grocery store, or threw her shoe at me. When she puts her little head on my shoulder, I remember how sweet she really is. Love this post!
So adorable! Nothing better than a child's laugh!
Well written. My little one is starting to turn the corner and her less than pleasant moments are giving way to a much sweeter, kinder kiddo. Love your comment on the photo - I wouldn't know how to make the lens focus on her hand and not her. I need you to give me lessons.
I love all these "thanksgiving" posts I've been seeing around - how wonderful! I need to get on board and do one of my own. Gorgeous pics - I love the wedding picture idea - LOL!
I swear, we have been battling the same issues. I need these moments to remind me that the battle is worth it and that our kids need us more than anything :)
Carol this is a great post! The first picture is so adorable! Look at those smiles! I hope you have a great weekend my friend!

What a joy! Your attitude is quite amazing! Adorable pics too :)
OK, that is just too sweet. Oh how they have that ability to wipe out the bad parts by just being cute for a little bit. I think it is a instinct in us. Otherwise we'd leave our young, wouldn't we? I just love that betrothed photo. :)
Have a great weekend my friend!
