"To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes.
We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys.
We live outside the touch of time."
~Clara Ortega
One of the greatest parts about having a sibling is having someone to share your history with. Someone who experienced childhood with you exactly as you experienced it. Someone to reminiesce with, someone who knows you as you have always been. Although, siblings grow up and often life and distance separates them, their history never changes, their connection to each other does not expire.
My girls will have this.
And so will these boys. I'm entering this photo below in Paper Mama's weekly photo challenge this week. It was taken in April, down at the Marina. A young single Momma and the source of all of her joy. I love how big brother has his hand on little brother's shoulder, and the pure joy on little brother's face. She is one blessed Momma.
Happy Wednesday!

These are both such sweet shots. I'm finding as an adult that my memories are often different from my siblings...it's like we had the same experience but took something completely different away from it.
You comment on how siblings will always have the same history is so true. There will always be someone there to remember and share the good and bad times. Love the girls matching dresses :) And of course, your pic with the boys and their mom is awesome.
Great shots! I love the edits on the one with the boys.
And I have to say...I feel like Cam and Chloe are both thinking "How much longer do I have to do this?" LOL
The single momma shot melts my heart.... great photo!
Beeeeeeeautiful photo! Thanks for the sweet words about mine, too!
Oh, that's such a sweet quote and so true. I love my brother like I love no other!! It's truly a one-of-a-kind love that is so precious to me.
And I remember you posting this photo of the mom and her boys before. I love it. So sweet. LOVE.
Great photo! Sibling love is definitely not repeatable.
Absolutely beautiful! The quote is wonderful! It is so true about us not knowing the age, but loving and seeing one another the same. Have a fantastic weekend my friend!
