Sensual pleasures have the fleeting brilliance of a comet; a happy marriage has the tranquillity of a lovely sunset.

We went to the Beach on Sunday evening for the first time since August. The Hubs and I lamented what a shame it is that we live a mere 5 miles from this gorgeous coastline and rarely come to enjoy it....
It was cold, very cold. But, the littles enjoyed it. They took off their socks and shoes and they crawled and rolled in the sand. They made sand angels and they danced to the drum beats. We watched the sunset.
And our hearts were full. We left thinking that we really need to do this more often, maybe when it isn't quite so cold. But we should make a habit of this; of enjoying mother nature, family time, and our beautiful beach. This life is paradise.

So beautiful. Love the first pic...
Alas, isn't that what life is all about: mother nature, family time and the beautiful beaches? Yes, do this more often, Carol (for the sake of those of us who have no beaches for miles and miles!) Those are all great pics.
Love it! Found you on a W.W. linky & I'm a new follower
It really is paradise isn't it, to have your family, a beautiful sunset, and a place to enjoy it. It's funny how we get so complacent in life, and forget that sometimes it takes just a little effort to make these perfect moments happen.
What beautiful photos...are usual :) It is so great that you can at least visit the beach in the month of December. We leave near the beach but it is way too cold here in NY. Looks like a great way to spend a Sunday evening :)
Love the first pic! Good stuff and what great memories. Hope the move went smooth
Wow! Wonderful pictures, wonderful memories. How fun to make sand angels! These are the kinds of things your children will remember when they have children of their own. Beautiful post.
Beautiful photos! The first one is so amazing and captures the sweetness and innocence! Love it :)
Beautiful photos, Carol! LOL @ Sand angels. Well, 'tis the season, right?
That's for your comment re: KLV's santa photo. I really have NO idea what I'm doing with that camera but I love playing with it. How did you learn to take such great photos; trail and error, reading the darned book or classes?
Wow Carol, these pictures are beautiful! I love the beach! I try hard to get there as much as possible. The Nutcracker was great, but my daughter did get restless and wanted to dance about half way through the show. It was a bit long for a four year old. I hope you are doing great! Have a good nght!
